Macros is Imaginary Forces online series debuting on lstudio.com. Macros consists of four episodes, 3 to 4 minutes in length, each dealing with issues that affect the world around us. The episode here deals with human migration, while others deal with such issues as the environmental impact of the "garbage vortex."

For "Origins" we consulted historian Joel Kotkin on the trends of human migration. Diasporas, or group migrations, have throughout history dictated the explosion of culture and science in specific regions of the world. "Origins" explores this phenomenon and attempts to predict where it will take us next.
