For the live action feature film Transformers, we created the first look at what the traditionally animated transformations would look with modern technologies and sensibilities. Working closely with the film's director, Michael Bay, we sampled textures and mechanical joints and surfaces to make the 3 dimensional transformation possible. The title reveal set the standard by which fans of the classic series would judge the film itself.

Along with several collaborators, we had the task of establishing the brand of the film via the teaser trailer. Since limited footage was available, our team derived the design for the titles based on artwork and previous drawings presented by Michael Bay in initial meetings.
