We Are Looking For

A talented CG Lead Artist to join our production team to support the company by overseeing 3D Projects, set vfx supervisor, and provide technical leadership to the 3D team during all productions that have CG elements. The Lead Artist will work as an artist on projects and will also have some project management responsibilities. This member will help guide the CG process along technical paths and will help producers with estimating time and process. A good lead will have good intuition for interpreting client direction and will be able to communicate effectively in the visual medium. Other responsibilities include maintenance of workflow, file organization, and production standards.

General Responsibilities

  • Serve as a CG Lead (Maya, C4D, Flame, Nuke, etc. pipeline).
  • Serve as a Technical Director (TD) helping to facilitate improvements to overall CG pipeline, working with systems and production.
  • Serve as set VFX supervisor for live action shoots, which require CG in post production.
  • Help determine appropriate crew for large CG projects.
  • Mentor Jr. staff animator/s.
  • Attend Systems/Creative Leads meeting and speak to areas where we can make technical improvements.


3D design frames (setting the look w/ lighting and comp)
Stereoscopic versioning
Software: Maya, Vray, C4D, Flame, Nuke, AE
*Knowledge of VR and Python scripting a plus
