Commercial for Masterclass
Before you paint, you prepare the palette and learn the techniques it takes to produce masterful art. Anything you want to master takes time. Through a cinematic lens, Masterclass’ ‘Now You’ campaign invites goal-seekers into a world of classes specifically tailored to their aspirations. In collaboration with Anomaly, we sought to capture the essence of what it’s like to take a masterclass. The countdown starts now!
what we did.
Wipe the camera lens, peel the tomato, walk on set— it’s time. Closeup shots pull the viewer into each craft and as the symphony builds, very familiar faces are revealed . With a new year, comes opportunities to learn new skills. Anomaly’s Hannah Tutera and Shelby Guller brought the concept of a countdown and after our team studied the plethora of masterclass courses, we delivered a piece that puts the student in the instructor’s shoes. As the journey unfolds, we used actual lectures to match cut a wide-range of industry figures in their element and climax to the call-to-action ‘Now You’.
