Main Title for Apple TV+
Working with showrunner and author Blake Crouch, we embraced the enigmatic essence of the multiverse in crafting the main title for Dark Matter on Apple TV+. Amidst his quest for connection and love, the protagonist, Jason, encounters roadblocks as he strives to find his place and his partner in the right universe.
what we did
Evoking the concept of parallel universes, the cubist-inspired sequence unfolds like a puzzle, navigating through a maze of interconnected dimensions. The interlocking visuals, reminiscent of a Rubik's cube, symbolize the trial-and-error process of weaving worlds together when they collide. With our animation cues, the composer was able to seamlessly synchronize the audio. A single camera movement captured every beat and credit. We incorporated warm palettes and dynamic compositions built around the type that disrupts the typical sci-fi aesthetic. Adding depth and character evolution we invited viewers into a mesmerizing world where every frame tells a story.
