It’s no secret that Frank Herbert’s Dune is an epic sci-fi trilogy that keeps its fans at the edge of their seats wanting more. Max brought us in to collaborate with JAX to travel 10,000 years back to create a multi-elemental logo and captivating transitions for the worldwide debut of Dune: Prophecy, a long-awaited TV series streaming on Max in Fall 2024.

what we did

Well-immersed in the Dune universe with our previous design work, we were honored to return to the world of Dune to tease its legendary debut on streaming. Using Cinema 4D and After Effects, we translated the iconic trademark logo into elemental letter forms. Our opener leads with a transition that acts as a portal into the origin story of the sisterhood—before the universe knew them as the Bene Gesserit.
