Making our mark with IMAX
With each IMAX project comes a new opportunity to think big. Our work with IMAX continues to evolve as we reimagine ways to integrate the logo into each story. Putting brand identity at the forefront of the conversation, we’re truly grateful to collaborate with IMAX, continuing to create moments that are experienced to the fullest.
For IMAX Dune and Spider-Man: No Way Home, we wanted to draw the audience into two worlds that felt familiar, but fresh. From science fiction novel to the big screen, we captured the movement of sand within a static image coupled with warm tones for Dune’s epic theater placement that had movie-goers blown away. Another fan-fave, Spider-Man: No Way Home called for reimagining his home city, New York. Suspending the IMAX logo in Spidey’s web, we were stoked to make our mark in the multiverse.
Instead of thinking of IMAX as a part of the world of such renowned franchises like The Avengers, we instead aimed to think of them as a part of the world of IMAX. By envisioning these iconic characters in the IMAX world, we sought to emphasize the inherent link between renowned films and experiencing them through the lens of IMAX.
