what we did

In the true story of a wildly popular podcast on Wondery by the same name, Marty Markowitz (Will Ferrell), faces the reality that who he thought was a helpful friend could very well be a back-stabbing foe. From ripe-to-rotten, we tracked their dysfunctional bond with a series of animated title cards unique to each episode. We concepted a metaphor of vines to convey the insidious nature of Dr. Herschkopf, the deceitful therapist (Paul Rudd). Set in the exhilarating streets of Manhattan and lavish hamlets of the Hamptons, we gradually unpacked their symbiotic relationship through the decades. Stream the psychological spiral that is The Shrink Next Door on Apple TV.
