Imaginary Forces

The ideal candidate should have experience in design and creative development, branding and identity development, live-action production, original content development, 2D and 3D animation pipelines, VFX and editorial. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Budgeting and Cost Management:

  • • Bidding and scheduling incoming projects and collaborating closely with EP and creative directors on proposals to ensure alignment on the creative vision and client budget expectations.
  • • Submit Project Award Emails and 1st Billing Requests if the producer has not yet been onboarded.
  • • Monitor project production expenses to ensure adherence to the budget. 
  • • Identify cost-saving measures when necessary. 
  • • Make informed decisions regarding resource allocation.
  • • Supervise all project wrap meetings and timely adherence
  • • Profit and Loss accountability - reporting to CFO and EP on ongoing and regular basis

 

Production Supervision:

  • • Hire and manage production staff and freelancers, including Producers and Coordinators. 
  • • Liaise with Head of Talent on all other creative artists.
  • • Assign tasks and delegate responsibilities to ensure efficient workflow. 
  • • Provide feedback and guidance to post-production team members. 
  • • Key point of contact for issues escalations and recommendations for solutions to EP
  • • Set / maintain and evolve IF’s production guidelines and goals to current standards
  • • General "housekeeping" of daily and weekly tasks of overseeing production budgets, margins and billings,  according to company policy and processes. 

 

Quality Control Oversight and Adherence:

  • • Ensure all deliveries are best in class and that all final deliverables meet all specifications and deadlines. 
  • • Identify and address any technical or creative issues that may arise during production. 
  • • Liaise with IT/  systems department for internal goals and project related needs (rendering, security, plug-ins, scaling studio, etc) as it pertains and affects the production department.

 

Communication and Collaboration:

    • Maintain open communication with the production team, directors, producers, and other stakeholders throughout production. 

    • Regularly update all parties on production progress and address any concerns. 

    • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as needed. 

    • Manage collaboratively with other department heads across growth, resources, accounting, and operations.

    • Build and maintain sustaining relationships with clients at all levels, actively assist in repeat sales.

Imaginary forces is seeking a Head of Growth. We are on the lookout for an experienced industry leader to drive the next level of growth. You are a passionate and ambitious executive with either agency-side  (advertising, branding, and/or design) or client-side experience in the media, entertainment, lifestyle or tech industries. The Head of Growth is responsible for driving sales and our business growth strategy whilst nurturing client relationships. The role requires a strategic and creative thinker with a strong business acumen who can identify opportunities in the marketplace for our globally recognized, multi award-winning creative studio. 

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will focus on developing outbound business  development strategies, anticipating opportunity gaps and executing growth strategies in  line with the company’s overall business objectives.  


Key Responsibilities

  • Growth
    • • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, particularly in technology,  lifestyle, media and entertainment, leveraging your agency and/or client-side  experience to tap into emerging market needs and trends whilst cultivating long  lasting client relationships.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • • Serve as a trusted partner to clients by  understanding market dynamics, pressures, and goals. Build and maintain strong  relationships that drive long-term collaboration and success. 

  • Market Expertise
    • • Leverage your industry knowledge to identify key growth  opportunities and position Imaginary Forces as a leader in creative innovation and  business impact but also challenge our existing category assumptions whilst  advancing our expansion into new categories. 

  • Pitch Leadership
    • Lead the pitch process from concept to execution, working with  cross-functional teams to craft proposals that directly address client pain points. 

  • Strategic Planning
    • • Develop and implement long-term growth strategies, aligning with unique needs of new clients. Set clear KPIs for revenue growth and client awareness, engagement, and conversion. Drive innovation across the org to ensure long-term growth and competitiveness.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration
    • • Work closely with IF's leadership team including creative directors, finance and production to ensure client projects meet both creative and business objectives.

  • Client-side Perspective
    • • Utilize your experience and unique perspective to better understand client challenges, advocating for solutions that align with their business objectives and industry & marketplace challenges.

  • Industry Insights
    • • Stay up to date on key industry trends, challenges, and innovations, and use these insights to advise clients on emerging opportunities for their brands.

  • Brand Ambassador
    • • Represent Imaginary Forces at major industry events, conferences, and client meetings, positioning the agency as a leader in the market.


Qualifications

  • • Proven experience (10 years+) in a senior business development, strategy, executive  producer, or client services role
  • • Direct client-side experience (as a buyer of creative agency services)
  • • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and market share expansion in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of the creative production process, especially in  branding, creative storytelling across multiple media
  • • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to lead high-stakes  pitches and close deals
  • • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and  stakeholders
  • • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify new growth opportunities, particularly in  fast-evolving sectors. We’re interested in the categories you think we can capture and looking for a leader who can create an action plan to help get us there

  • Experience in entrepreneurial, roll-up your sleeves environments a plus
