Campaign for Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board
Whether it's a beach or a mountain view, there’s much to see in the city of Los Angeles. People travel near and far to explore the city’s iconic attractions. We created a global campaign for LA Tourism that gives a warm welcome to LA natives and tourists around the world.
what we did
When the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board reached out to us requesting to infuse the cinematic feel of our title sequence work into their campaign, we knew we were going to have some fun under the sun. With LA as our home base, we know the city like the back of our hand!
Inspired by Saul Bass, we created playful, vibrant, illustrative, stop-motion-styled sequences that tell the city’s narrative through themes: arts/culture, sports/live events, shopping, outdoors/wellness, culinary, and attractions. Finding the balance between using live-action footage and illustration, we stayed true to Old Hollywood charm. From billboards to subways to digital discovery on social, our campaign travels through the nooks and crannies of Los Angeles.
