Dutton Ranch
For this new chapter in Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone Universe, Rip Wheeler and Beth Dutton gamble everything on a new life in South Texas, but the promise of building a future far from the ghosts of Yellowstone quickly collides with new realities and a rival ranch that will stop at nothing to protect its empire.
What We Did
For these main titles, we decided to break away from what had been done in previous Yellowstone properties, such as the use of portraits, and create something entirely new with the use of metaphors. The characters of the show are represented by the wildlife found in southern Texas. The Duttons are represented by horses and the antagonists by scorporions, but we didn't stop there. We used a combination of live-action and computer generated imagery to convey the beauty and the harshness of the Texas landscape.
