How do you turn one of the most complex issues of our time into a clear and provocative visual campaign?
With the 2020 international Gender Equality Forum approaching, Gates Foundation knew they needed to speak urgently to both high-level constituents in the policy space and the general public. They partnered with IF to develop a provocative and compelling campaign that cut through the noise across social and digital channels.
Simplicity = Impact.
Distilling hundreds of pages of research and analysis into clear visual storytelling, we developed a wide-ranging social-first campaign that lived on the Gates Foundation's Instagram and website The Optimist. We juxtaposed powerful statements and statistics about inequality with simple and provocative visuals, inspired by the idea of “The Gender Lens” and the mission statement “Equality Can’t Wait.”
